Undecided on adding stripes.

Looking at Big Worm OTT stripes for my 18 Kona blue GT w/BAP. Really wanted white with red pinstripe, but seen this satin black w/silver that I like too. What would go go with if you wanted stripes?

There is a gt 350 owner that has found the perfect touch for us undecided folks that have been debating stripes for our mustangs . Look into X- Pell . I guess there a way this gives a ghosted appearance to the stripes so they are not all up in your face .

On my DIB I went with Avery's Quicksilver for the main stripes with a red off-set pinstripe. Came out great. I think the white is almost too shiny, and the black might get lost a little bit. But the silver-on-blue was fantastic I thought.

Edit: Not sure if BigWorm has that option, my installer ordered the stripes as a kit.

Big Worm has silver, but I'm not sure if it's the exact same. I personally think white goes great with Kona, But since I have the black package, I'm rethinking that. Seen the satin black/silver above and really like that too. It would be more subtle on the Kona, but would match the rest better. I'm not feeling the large silver stripes too much, But I found a Kona pic with satin black/white that's close to the black/silver I'm thinking of as alternative colors. View attachment 295196

This is what mine looked like before I traded it. The Avery Quicksilver was a metallic glossy silver.

I have to agree with BlueThunder, White is too bright and too similar to a Shelby wanna-be, and black is way too subtle. Thats why I did Metallic Gun Metal Grey with silver pinstripes. Still get compliments after 3 years!

If I had gray wheels, I could consider Gray/Silver stripes. It's my black wheels that are throwing me off.

On Kona, silver without a doubt. That’s what I had on my GT500. However, I hated dealing with stripe BS, so I vowed no more striped. My 350 is sans stripes.

Blue Thunder's looks good because he also has gray wheels. With black wheels, silver does not look good (See Blue Moon's pics).

Post pics if you do it. I'm very undecided how stripes would look on a "Black accent" car, the black roof seems like a conflict.
