GT PP Option 19-inch x 9-inch(F)/19-inch X 9.5-inch(R) Luster Nickel-Painted Forged Aluminum Wheels:
F 61.0 lb R 64.2 lb w/Michelin Pilot Sport 4s tires (no lug nuts)
Was gonna ask about these, thanks. Those numbers are almost identical to the standard GT PP wheels...has anyone weighed the optional ones bereft of tires yet? My understanding is that forged alloy wheels are usually lighter than cast ones, so the forged ones SHOULD be lighter (even mounted on tires with air in them), unless there's something I'm missing.

*should* all things being equal -- but I've started to believe that most light wheels are more track-oriented, and probably don't have the service life that an OE wheel does -- the OE service life requirement means more material, so a negligible weight savings. My summer setup -- the Advanti HY Hybris wheels -- without lugs -- are less than 20lbs... They are spun -- not fully -- forged, but you'd be hard pressed to find fully forged wheels that weigh less than them -- so far no problems with them, and the steering response is enough quicker with them that I can dodge potholes effectively :)

You guys likely have looked at this, I really havent, will have to check when I get under the car...but, why isnt an aftermarket radiator support not a thing for S550s? Seems like S197 shed about 8-10lbs when an aftermarket piece. Thanks for any info.

28x6-17 MT S/R - 22lbs
305-45-17 MT ET streets S/S- 36lbs

Man I wish there was a lot more lightweight stuff made for our cars. S197 guys got it made when it comes to this stuff. Besides really expensive Kmembers, Baer brakes and some small weight reduction from BMR suspension goodies there really isnt much.

@BMR Tech AP Racing PP front rotors: 24lbs 14oz. Got 24lbs 13.9oz on my more accurate scale and 24.6lbs on my less accurate bathroom scale for a dummy check.

Has anyone weighted the heated and cooled leather seat??
I attempted to weigh mine on a bathroom scale. Best I got was 56 lbs but that was with me and a friend lightly touching the seat to keep it balanced on the scale. I saw in another thread that premium seats weigh 58 lbs.
