The issue was caused by the wiring harness. Wires were broken, fixed the harness, and reprogrammed the camera.

Just checked my harness yesterday, those wires are a bit tight, not a lot of slack when the trunk is open. I'm going to try and make a little bit more slack somehow to take the stress off.

I had that wonky stuff
Took it to the dealer and they replaced he camera, no charge. Seems OK
Without me asking they did the door lock recall
All in all, it was an OK visit

I had the same issue. The dealer repaired the wiring and it was ok for a day but the issue has returned. I don't have the wavy picture yet but the colors are all over saturated like yours and it has cut out twice. Waiting ti hear back if Ford is going to fix my sagging rear bumper before we schedule a return visit.

Since the dealers just try to splice broken wires and that results in the problem coming back much of the time, preventive steps might be the way to go. I realize that is too late for you but could keep the rest of us from going thru that.

Mine is doing the same thing after they replaced the harness under the recall. I also have an intermittent wrench light / air bag light that comes on after 3 miles or a bump ( assuming the bump is causing the wires to shake throwning a code ). Any feedback would be appreciated. Thank you.

If the repair was done under the recall - take it back. Tech probably didn't do the splicing correctly or there's loose wires after the splice...
