FINALLY...after many trials and tribulations, the details of which I will not bore you with, I had an opportunity to take her to my home track, High Plains Raceway, for the Porsche Club Rocky Mountain event, and wring her out for the first time. Very hot days, but the car ran superbly. What an absolutely astonishing car to drive! The pull, the grip, the balance! I was chasing down a GT3 and a GT4 Clubsport, though I'm not sure the Clubsport was pushing all that hard. Apologies for the crummy video mount location...
1:59.9 best lap time for the weekend, 1.58 G's.

Add it to the lap times thread!

You were on it! That's a pretty tight track for such a heavy car. I bet the Porsche's were cursing you a bit hehe

12.7mm spacers up front and 5mm out back.

Question for you: Did you put longer studs on for the spacers? If not, do you feel comfortable with the amount of threads your lugs still had to grab onto? I'd really like to run some front spacers but can't seem to find any of the wheel adapter-style ones that mount to the existing studs and then have studs of their own to mount the wheels to.

Finished my Infinity install. Put the tweeters in today. Have to say it's a world of difference. Now the tweeter do stick out a little because of the way the cup was built, but I do not mind. They still look nice there, and sounds dam good with all of the other speakers and the sub. Now that's how it should have sound from factory !

Met up with some friends at Cowtown Cars & Coffee. Great mix of exotics and American muscle from both eras. Afterwards, we lined up from a few laps around Texas Motor Speedway. They were having a membership drive for The Speedway Club, so there was no charge and they let us full out with passing allowed. You just had to sign up for their mailing list and sign a mega-waiver. I was a blast. I passed two cars down low on corners and two more up high on the back stretch. The black 350 is me.

It was only 3 laps but it was enough to get the heart rate up and put a grin on the face!
Bummer...had no idea this was happening. I need to get over to Cowtown C&C. The one in Plano is too crowded.

I am not a big fan of bolt on adaptor spacers. I did install longer studs ( Ford F350) in order to run these spacer.

Btw, 5mm is max you can go with factory studs.

This is what you want as far as bolt on. (15mm)

Came with my car, the previous owner installed it. It's great quality and is the track pack one.

Sorry I couldn't be more help.
No worries bro, thanks. I'm not such a purist that I'm against getting a R spoiler (I like them), but I don't know if I want the hassle and expense of dealing with the trunk lid; be it a new one or filling/painting holes.
