I tried looking this up, and it seems like no one else has had this problem. I'll outline it below:
- I've had my Scosche dash kit for a year and a half, had no problems (professionally installed).
- A couple weeks ago, it stopped working. The radio was still working fine, but the HVAC portion of it stopped working. It was still back-lit black, but I was not able to control the HVAC at all.
- I called Scosche tech support, they said to restart the system (reboot it), which I had the guy at Best Buy do, and it worked great again
- A week later now, it's not working again.
Has anyone had this? If so, are there fixes other than getting a new unit?
If I need a new unit, should I stay with Scosche, or has the Metra kit proven to be better?
