It was. I really loved the red v6, which I got new just over six years ago.

The '16 sat on the dealer's lot for nearly three weeks, damn it, while I tried to find something wrong with it, hoped it would just suddenly sell and wondered why it didn't.

In the end, I had no choice but to buy it. :D

After not quite three days of driving this one, though, there's just no comparison between the two. The new 5.0 is incredible.

agreed..... the refinement of the S550 is quite an accomplishment.

Meet Bullitt, my 7 year old Sheltie rescue. I adopted him the day after I ordered my '18 rag top in the first week of February.
Even Dogs are happy riding in a Mustang... lots of smiles per mile...

Your heart would break if you saw it in person. Well over $1,000 in cosmetic damages
My Daughter goes to the University of Wisconsin in Madison. Every time I am there I am amazed at how beat up every vehicle is that parks or drives around (new or old). I can't imagine how bad it is in NYC.. but, you know- it's just a car and they are meant to be driven. All of those cosmetic damages can be repaired at some point if you were to keep the car long term and have it be a collectible. I am not in the mode of having a collectible...even if it was- any cosmetic things can always be fixed. I have a client that restores Ferrari's and some of them are in pretty rough shape. The end game is to enjoy the car, drive it, have fun in it, make memories and not stress over it. I am having to embrace that attitude with mine. Slowly but surely I am learning to relax and enjoy.
