I'm 90% certain that there's a 50th Anniversary 'Stang here at work. It looks to be a Kona Blue Vert, definitely has the 50th Anniversary wheels and grille. However, I walked up to it to inspect the vin, the last five digits are "02960". Thought these were supposed to be numbered 00001-01964 (depending on which order the car was in the 50th anniversary build order?). Doesn't seem to make sense... :shrug:

The car you describe has the 50th Anniversary Appearance package on it. You are correct that the 50th Anniversary Limited Edition models have the last digits of their VIN matching their xxxx/1964 car number. Also, there was only one 50th Anniversary Limited Edition convertible (1 of 1) and it was Wimbledon White.
