Departure at 10.30 to a nice USA based restaurant (different than last year) with one stop
After lunch Scenery road trip (split up in 2 groups, same road but with time interval)
Back at hotel : Jacuzzi...
Evening Buffet 19.30
Bar ?? (open till 1pm)
Sunday: group drive to Spa Classic Event in Spa Francorchamps
Dedicated mustang Parking in most famous F1 'turn' (Raidillon)
Circuit drive for those interested
Lunch and enjoying Spa Classic event (Lunch is not organised!)

Hi guys very bad news for me. My friend who was going to come along with me this year has gotten a big problem. His wife had an attack and she is in hospital since Saturday. She cannot drive with her car anymore neither for at least 6 months and he has no drivers license ... so they are counting on me to get her from hospital and it looks like this will be 19 May (might be 18).
So if this is the case then I will not be able to attend this year unfortunately ... will know for sure by the end of this week.
Another problem is I booked a room and paid an account so if anyone is interested in this room, would be glad to pass it on.

Unfortunately I confirm I will miss this great event this year as I am not able to attend (see supra why).
I know the hotel is fully booked so if someone has interest in my room.
Anyway nice drive guys and enjoy your stay and the road!

I’m actually leaving the UK tonight, as I want to visit the Ploegsteert Memorial tomorrow to pay my respects to my Great Grandfather whom is remembered there

My wife is also wondering not only how may ladies will be attending, but also she's wondering how "glam" she needs to be in the evenings, I've got a nasty suspicion that 1/2 my trunk/boot will be full of clothes & shoes, which means there will be less space for taking alcohol back to the UK :headbonk:

In fairness, my wife was used to packing for a week away in my Caterham:

She had to pack very light as the trunk was about 1' deep, 1' front to rear and about 4' wide and soon filled up.

Some updates.....

The Saturday briefing will now be held at 1000 Hrs!! We aim to leave at 1030. Maps with addresses etc will be handed out at this time.

Some more things to look at beside the roads ;)

As for lady things to do...well, we are up in northern Lux and to be honest, there isnt much to do apart the Jacuzzi at the hotel and pretty landscape. We thought long and hard about this and it wasnt easy!

Yes, its nice that we are +1 from the UK

I will be arriving quite early on Friday so happy to help/answer questions if needed as usual. For those of you who are new, just look out for a German regged GT in Ruby Red with HRE wheels and a grey haired guy....cant miss me :lol:
