2019 GT350 order update

Ford is offering the 10spd Automatic on the 2019 GT500 but not the GT350 that makes zero sense. Guarantee every dealer would say 'I could sell triple the amount of GT350's we sell if an automatic was available' and its true

Yes, Ford has dropped Lightning Blue and Royal Crimson which is stupid as both are the Mustang's best two colors.

Personal opinion I'm glad the GT 350 will stay manual instead of an automatic option. That's the way the GT 350 has always been and even though more performance cars are offering an automatic (they have them now where they perform very well) its nice to see this car stay closer to the original concept with pure aspirated power (no supercharger or turbo) and manual only.

Update I'd like to see is to have it come with its own drone that'll play onto the screen. Why shouldn't we get the same kick out of watching us drive around in this car that everyone else seems to get?

I checked with my salesmen on a MY19 order today and he said he also heard the 350's would be offered. He's checking on ordering information for me tomorrow.

By the rule of transitive property, HB = GT350

I suspect your followup question will be why is a GT350 referred to as HB? That is not for me to answer...because I do not even have a guess as to why. Makes no sense to me.

I had the same issue couldn’t find anything ....however people on this forum and others have provided information regarding the 2019 GT 350( even saw a vid of Ford executive comment on it ) , my dealer says they have no information regarding of 2019 model ... don’t know who to believe. I ordered a 2018 White with blue stripes ...... can’t worry about what may or may not happen .... regardless it’s a very limited production car ...

Way to early for info..... dealers do not have information and won’t before the public does. Hell this forum will have solid GT350/500 data before your average dealer does. Sorry to say but going to dealers now and asking is like going for a walk in the forest and hoping to come across a unicorn.

Ford execs have said the GT350 will be sold along side the GT500. They used the term 2019 which can mean the 2019 MY or sold in the 2019 calendar year as 2020s.

In a recent magazine article (Mustang Times, April 2019) Mark Schaller Ford’s Mustang Marketing Manager stated 2019MY. However the GT500 is still undergoing testing, development, validation testing etc so I would not be surprised to see the 2019 GT350 and 2019 GT500 go into production next spring and come out as late release 2019s in time for tbe Mustang 55th. I’d thus expect the 2019 to be a short build year and a year away.

They could also go into production for a short period in the fall of 2018 before the winter shut down if they are ready, in which case they wouldn’t need to advise dealers as to ordering options until July or August.
