Is FRAP holding onto R models due to cold?

I'm aware of at least four R models that were built in the last month that haven't shipped and was wondering if there are others out there who are waiting for an R that was off the line a while back, but is still sitting in the deep freeze in Michigan.... perhaps thanks to that upper atmosphere disturbance called the Greenland Block, which is being blamed for the unusually cold spring temps in the Midwest and Northeast.

Given that it's been in the 20s and 30s at the factory, I'm wondering if Ford is holding off on installing those Cup2 tires and risking cracks during shipping.

Mine is supposedly in transit and due to arrive in 8 days. Initial transit time estimate would have had it arriving already but it was pushed back a little over a week ago. :shrug:

Two 2018 GT350Rs were delivered to a dealer in suburban Detroit last month, near my house. The weather is and has been abysmal here in Michigan, but I'm seeing cars still being delivered.

Yep, you did..... and Gotti has warned us to stay off of COTUS (which, by the way, still seems to think that my car is "in transit" and will arrive at the dealership in just two weeks). I think that's optimistic by at least a couple to a few weeks.

was produced, according to CotusFord, delivery has been pushed back 4 days to

My 17R was delayed at the factory for 9 weeks before they shipped it last April. :eyebulge:

I ultimately found out that my car lost it's chassis number plate before going to mod shop and it took them 9 weeks to figure that out. So, yes, chill out, this is all Ford Normal (sadly). :ford:

You might be right I am waiting on a white R. Blend date of 3/27 its been siting at the body shop since then.On Saturday 4/7 Cotus showed in transit next day sunday back to waiting for shipment.

Mine finished production on 03/20 (blend date of 03/14) and has been in “Awaiting Shipment” ever since. Initially, it had a 03/31 arrival date, then was pushed back to 04/06.

Once that date came and went with no update, the ETA is just not even listed.

I have special ordered vehicles before, so the waiting game itself does not bother me.

However, with the delivery date initially being 03/31, I scheduled my PPF / Ceramic coating for three weeks later (i.e., this week), thinking that would be enough time.

I feel lucky. My R allocation was awarded July 3rd 2017, built September 13th and delivered September 22nd. Of course there was quite the journey leading up to receiving that allocation, but was fairly quick after that.
