Blackout chrome on 50th yr taillights?

Has anyone tried to remove or black out the chrome trim on the taillights that come on the 50th year anniversary pck.?

If you want to go extreme you can go full [MENTION=10616]Terminated[/MENTION] like this. The whiting out part of the trim isn't part of that thread, but I'm sure he can pop in here and give you some information on it.

Well, you can't pull the bezels off without putting in some work. They're not just glued in place, but also plastic welded from the inside. What you could do is pull the tails out, tape off the black housing and the lenses and paint the trim rings on the lights.
Or, trade them for someone who has standard tails?

Why in your right mind would you want to hide those?? They cost money!!!
They cost money but seems more like em blacked out rather then with chrome, but I might have to find somone who wants to trade.

And its just personal preference, I like them more blacked out than with chrome,
for me it just looks better
