Finally put my front plate on today. I picked up a Craig's no-drill bracket months ago and installed the base plate but I couldn't bring myself to clutter up the front end with the stupid plate. Been 11 months driving without one, figured I wouldn't press my luck any longer. Seems pretty secure and it's easy to take the plate off. Probably will remove it again once I build some good karma back up.
I thought in USA you didn't need a front plate?

So if you are in a state that does not require it and you go to a state that does do they fine you?
No.

Is that a true "Cut an clamp" like the SVE X-pipe? I installed progressive springs and started the cosmetic part of my build, weather is affecting us on the coastal bend of Texas. Cold an raining slows everything.

Just got word from insurance that my 2015 is totaled, and I'll be getting a check next week.

Not sure where to go from here. Buy a 16/17 GT PP? Or wait and get an 18 in a few months?

Maybe something new altogether?

If I were to do it all over again Id buy a gt350 over spending 42k on a 2018 GT PP

I dont think I could ever buy someone elses project. Too much unknown

same thing happened to me. I ended up with a 10k mile 16 GT PP Premium, with a stage 2 whipple. saved $15-20k and have more power than an 18 or GT350. loving my choice!! :headbang:

if I had it to do over again, I would probably buy someone else's well done project and just have fun driving it or a super base GT with no options and build that.
Part of the fun for me is building something up myself, that way I know everything was done to spec and per my standards, although I don't know how I feel about re-modding a stock car again :\ I put a lot of work into my 15.

I agree. There's a 2016 GT Premium PP with really low miles near me at an unbeatable price. Has exhaust, suspension, and window tint, but the dealer can't confirm what brand of springs or spacer it's running, or if it's been aligned post-lowering. That kind of bugs me.

That's awesome! There are a few procharged S550's for sale near me, one only has 4,000 miles on it. Really tempting, not sure if I want to run a 650+hp daily driver though haha!

That would be the dream! Another consideration for sure.
