Why's that? I know 2015-2017 quad tips meant for roush valence fits the 2018's fine. So why not the reverse?

15-17 quad tips fit the 2018 just by luck and for some the fitment may not be considered "absolutely perfect". These kits on the other hand are designed specifically for the 2018, we have no plans to test fit them on a 15-17 because that is not what they are intended to fit. If you are looking for a MagnaFlow Competition Quad Tip Exhaust for the 15-17, we currently have our exclusive kit that we designed, P/N: CBG88

Where have you seen 15 exhaust on 18?

15-17 quad tips fit the 2018 just by luck and for some the fitment may not be considered "absolutely perfect". Not all 2018 GT Mustangs have the active exhaust option so those models do not require the valve.
