I need new tires bad. Found some really good used ones on Craig's.
They are 255/40/19 fronts & 285/35/19 rears.
I'm running stock Performace pack wheels.

I like the 285s for the rear but my concern is the side wall being that it's 35 instead of 40.

Will this setup throw off any sensors? I've had this issue before on my last car and it threw off sensors.

Has anyone done this?
Any feedback is appreciated, thanks.

As in tire pressure monitoring sensors? If so, you won't have any issues as long as you don't get crappy ones. I went from 40 to 35 as well with a set from PKAutoDesign. They used sensors that automatically synced up with the car after driving it around a bit. Completely painless.

I intend to use the stock sensors. I'm buying these tires off Craig's to save a buck. The tires are awesome and the seller is taking a loss

I'm hoping ford's stock sensors will do fine

They will - the sensors don't care what your tire profile is. And they will already be synced with your car.

So the issue isnt with the TPMS sensors, its the ABS im worried about due to the different diameter size...

Any thoughts anybody?

The 285/35s are 26.9" in diameter, the stock rear PP tires are 275/40s are 27.7" in diameter, the 255/40s are 27" in diameter.

I went the other way on my winter tires from 27 to 27.7" with no noticeable change other than the speedo being off, slightly low, going the other way the speedo will read slightly high.
