In my quest for more N/A power I am considering E85. Problem is in NJ very few places have it. One is at Newark airport which is like 35 min from me. I don't mind going once every couple of weeks and loading up if I have to.

Does anyone have a similar problem? What's the best way of making this work? Do I need anything particular type of container to store it? Are 55 gallon drums an option?

Is their any other available options, like getting it shipped to me?

Thanks for any help guys. Completely inexperienced in this area.

Mods I know their are local sub forums but they get almost no traffic. Can we keep this here? Maybe other from different parts of the country in similar situations can get useful info from this discussion.

Just tune for 93 if you can't it close. I live in Florida I have to drive 40 minutes to get it as well. Not easy to find on the east coast from what I've seen

I already am tuned for 93. Just exploring the options for E85.

Flex fuel tune. That way you can put what ever in it, when ever you want.

Just buy 5gal vp jugs. They are like $25 a piece. I do the same thing in east orange. You are not going to be able to run e85 for a long time if you daily though its just not happening unless you live right by one of the stations. You will get like 200 miles out of a tank. Just run it when you are looking to track the car.

Yup, that's the game plan. Just trying to figure out how realistic getting E85 will be.

Ok, thanks. Thankfully it's not a daily.

We have E85 in NJ?? Where abouts by Newark Airport is it? You and I have similar mods according to your signature.

Yeah, that Gulf station is about 25 minutes from me..or it could be an hour, NJ traffic, just not worth dealing with airport congestion to me. It is right before Terminal A at the 7-11. That is the only one in NJ that I know of.

Where in NJ are you? I live in Westchester, NY...right across the TZ bridge, there's a Shell station that carries it...if you're on the border, something to consider. I have the same predicament, have about 3 stations near me here in NY, but my gf lives in fort lee and there's nothing.

Awesome to know. I drive right by Newark airport every day on my way to work. Problem is I have no money for a return fuel system now

Throw E85 into google.

You'll find E85 locators.
