That’s the nature of this game. How do you think the 3V guys felt in 2011? Love to see fast Blue Ovals!!! BTW, my go pedal is just fine

I'm hoping the rumors of a 7.0 for the next generation are true. Otherwise, I'm planning on sticking with my '16 until the wheels fall off.

I’m there too as a 7.0 Ford racing engine (on a skid) greeted me daily as Ford GT production geared up where I am. If the 7.0 does not become a reality then it’s off to Corvette land before I get too old to drive these things. The V6 remains my DD and will do so till the wheels fall off. When I need space I drive a Buick Enclave. I live in two houses so three cars is still doable.

I'm going from a 2013 V6 Premium to a 2018 GT Premium PP and I'm honestly so excited for January to get here. So I can get my car and give it the loving it needs!! And I don't care what other people say about it!
Going from a 13 s197 Mustang to 18 s550 is going to blow your sox's off. The handling alone will make you fall in love with the car and never want to quit driving her. :headbang:

I guess this "butt-hurt" aka envy must be what you get when you jump on that "gotta keep up with the Joneses" treadmill.

At a track day I could use another hundred HP, maybe even another 150. But I don't even have to have it there to enjoy the driving.

Finally saw a couple 18's at the dealership yesterday. I believe the front is not photogenic too much, but in person it looks much better especially in black. The car had the digital dash setup and active exhaust and I must say ford did a great job with the active exhaust setup. Now that I've said that I will say it's not enough for me to jump on the wagon for an 18 since I have plenty enough in my 15 and the laundry list of crap to still do. Neat car and excited to play with one on the road, but like I stated earlier I'll enjoy sticking with my 15!

No slight intended to the 3V crowd, just an observation :ford:

If any of you are actually butt hurt by the 2018 revision, you have more issues than the mustang...

I've been dreaming about a Mustang convertible, preferably the GT but not wedded to that, ever since the 2015 models came out. I was aiming for a 2017 last spring but had a death in the family and that put things off for a while. Then I was aiming for a 2018 next year sometime but came across a very clean 2016 GT convertible with only 6600 miles on it and it had "all" the option packages I wanted plus a couple. It's the first Mustang I've seen with this option combo. I picked it up for a cool $14,000 less than what a 2017 would have cost, let alone a 2018 and I'm happy as a clam. Butt hurt? Not at all! :)
Pictures please !!

There is always going to be something better or a better version of yours out there.

No reason to get butt hurt. Just drive you more to trade in when time is right.

I agree, to each his own, but I like the bigger cowl and retro look...

what's there to be butt hurt about?
Missing out on the new and slightly bigger 5.0 and its additional power because Ford couldn't bring it to market in line with their car-buying schedule?

I guess there are people who don't like not having the latest specs and technologies, like the car that was good enough a year or two ago suddenly isn't good enough any more.
