you have to tilt the base when installing so that the back of it sits against the seatback, not the seat base. Basically, you can't lay it flat, it has to be tilted so you don't have the baby's next flexing forward.

I have a baby seat in mine that we occasionally take our 6 month old out in for short around the town trips. It's definitely doable.
This ^^. I do the small with a Maxi Cosi

The issue is the isofix base should sit with 70% of the base touching the seat. The bucket seats in the stand mean only the front lip touches the seat. Even using a seat designed for bucket seats you dint get the 7p% contact patch.

Using a seat belt isn’t dooable with a new born as it leans over too much.

As for using the front seat I wouldn’t trust the sensors with regards to weight, if I there was an indication they were disabled it’d make me fell better.

Personally I’m swaying towards just buying a third car rather than sell it.

I thought the airbag light up by the rear view mirror indicated whether the airbag was active or not..:)

I’ve never noticed that.

Struggle for a few years. Before you know if they'll be big enough for a booster seat. I have Recaro Milano seats in mine and they do not look out of place.

I think he’s progressed to a booster now so he’s OK :D
I'm finally potty trained though. I think you're just going back to diapers though right Ben:lol:?

Rear seat delete kit then put a maxi cosy iso fix base in with 100% contact on the seat delete base which is a flat bit of wood. You then use the maxi cosi support down to the floor in front of the rear seat area.
As long as the front seat passenger is short you are in business.

Ever seen baby driver? take the literally and you're sorted...

I jest, i have no idea! :headbonk: stevec anything from you pops?
I just paid for the Mrs to pass her test and brought her a 'sensible' car. To this day she thinks I had her best interests at heart but I was just pre-empting objections to the Mustang.

Plus the kids we past baby seat days long ago

Duly noted... I think in summary:
"Don't have kids"
Like me you probably heard that every day from your parents while you were growing up. But that does not make it universally true.
