Parachute Options

Im looking at adding a chute with my new build. What are y'all's opinion on setup? The only kit i'm seeing is the Watson Racing one.

Also thinking of using co2 to discharge them since i'll have co2 already for the boost controller.

I'm researching the same thing, probably going to go with the Watson. I'd like to see what options exist.

I will say this, a set of dba T4 rotors, hawk hps pads, stainless steel brake lines, and some fresh fluid, I was able to bring my car down from 190+ to a stop in 2600ft. I know I can stop without a chute on a 5500ft strip, but not all strips are 5500ft. I was also able to bring my car to a stop from 152mph at the 1/4 strip with no chute, non PP calipers, stock rotors and pads lasted for a dozen of those, haha.

My local 1/4 a chute is mandatory for any car over 150mph.

But would still like to have it for peace of mind when pushing to 200+

Did you notice that the Watson kit doesn't come with a chute or release cable?

I'm have a local guy hack up my rpm roll bar and turn it into a 10 point.

Also he said he would build the chute bracket for me.

I just ordered the tig vision parachute mount and cable bracket $360 ill let u know the quality. I think watson is hyped up a-bit because they do the cobrajet’s. After my cage experience with them i was willing to try someone else.

We run the Watson unit. I've pulled it multiple times at 200+mph without issue. Fit and finish is beautiful!

showed up today and it looks great !!! welds are nice and paint looks great. They cleaned the paint out of all the holes and where the chute mount slides in the bumper bar. ill let you all know how it fits and install pics. only down fall is no instructions so the exit hole in the bumper cover should be fun lol.

"well, we have a few things going on, no front plate, windows are a little dark, and whats the obstruction by the rear plate?"
