Anyone have 20" 6GR wheels with 285/30 and 305/30 tires? Please post pics if you do!

When I went to the 6GR setup I also installed a set of FRPP track dampers and CJPP springs so the ride changed drastically for me in a positive way. It's how the Mustang should have come from the factory imo...

With the 30 series you won't have any issues rubbing.
Sounds good, thanks! I have the FRPP dampers with my Sportlines, so I would assume my ride would be very similar to yours.

Jeff's FRC and BenGTPP, what are your thoughts on the ride and handling with this setup? I don't mind a firm or stiff ride. My only concern is the possibility of rubbing because my car is lowered on Sportlines. Thanks for the help!

EDIT: I should also add that my car is not a daily driver; it is a weekend toy that gets occasional HPDE track use.
You will want a 30 series tire. 35 will rub.

I'm running 285/30 and 305/30 on my car. Just have to be lowered and they look awesome. The setup is also closer to stock diameter than the 35 series tires as well so I'm not quite sure why everyone says to go to the 35 series tires?
This looks great IMO. I think the 35 series tire on a 20 is too fat but everyone is different. What are you lowered on?

CJPP springs. My car is Whippled too, so there is some extra weight up front and it sits low. Even with the 285/30's I had to keep -1.5* camber because they are really close to the fender.

I think the 35 series tires are good for guys that don't lower much or stay stock height.

I don't have rub but you are lower. Ride is slightly more firm but still composed. My wife said it rides excellent. Car is noticeably more responsive. Handling, I have not run it anywhere near the limit yet as I only have around 400 miles with these wheels.

I was all set to go with the 7 spoke wheels, but those 5 spokes look great too! Decisions, decisions...

I'm glad someone posted about this. I couldn't seem to find tire sizes anywhere. Not to thread jack, but how would a 315/30/20 do on the back? That extra tire poke would look great if it doesnt rub!

No tire poke on 315/30/20. Check out this 20x10 285/35 and 20x11 315/30.

I would recommend the 285/35 and 305/35.
Check out this setup here:

How much is this car lowered?

I'm strongly considering putting these on a 2018 unless I decide to order a PP2. I may just order a GT with black accent package and swap the wheels, tires, springs, struts/shocks, sway bars myself.

BenGTPP your pictures sold me. I have a white GT pp too and went with the 5 star 6GRs with 285/35/19 and 325/30/19. Looks and rides awesome! And, no rub.

Note: I bought my mp4s at Costco and their tire center was awful. They “test fit” just the rim on the rear and took a picture to show me the 3” poke of the rim beyond the rear fender. I had them mount the tires on the wheels and a buddy helped out with a floor jack to put them on. Next time I’ll spend the little bit extra and have the experts mount and balance my set up.

Thanks for the info! The guys at Costco are not experienced with custom fitments lol
We look forward in seeing some pics! :)

Do you think the 35's will rub with the H&R Sport springs? It's 1.3 Front and 1.1 Rear. And it's settled a bit. I feel like they will, just from looking at these pics...
