Does anybody know if forscan can limit rpm and mph? My key doesn't do that. Thanks

No, that's a function of the PCM tune.

Alright, If I go to pick up the car and it has more miles than when I dropped it off, am I able to scan and document the history over the last week?

Can Ford with their diagnostics be able to scan and record the stuff that Forscan cant see?

Great thread! I read all 40 some odd pages but I haven't found what I'm looking for yet. Does anyone know if you can correct the speedometer for lower profile tires? The Whipple Flare tool does not support the GT350 so at this point I'm stuck.

I haven't seen anything to adjust speedo. I stayed with almost identical circumference tires to make sure the speedo error was minimal. Not sure if you've already bought the tires; if you haven't, try to choose ones that keep the same circumference.

BTW: Long time, no see since the M3 days. I still own mine, along with the GT350R.

Has anyone figured out if you can lock out the exhaust flapper moving into loud mode? Headed to a noise limiting track (92 do Laguna) next week and would prefer not to limp past the sound booth.

Not a forscan tweak, but I believe mattlqx posted about this somewhere along the way:

To plug the inside exhaust pipe (to pass noise restrictions at track).
Safety wire to the exhaust pipe rock hole.

Thanks MakStang and Spart !

The code worked great to fix my GT350 speedometer issue with my 305/30/19 tires. FWIW, using the calculator which is awesome by the way, the hex number was 07E6

Note that I got a checksum warning when I enter the new hex number due to the last 4 digits that do not change, but I went ahead with it and a new checksum was calculated.

I also disabled the double honk and the seatbelt chime. Interestingly I didn't have to use codes for either, just a drop down for Disable on both and it worked like a champ.

Yes, read that in TMO as well but saw another one where a member called Ford and they said it would void the warranty should something happen. A bit to risky for me!

Grain of salt there. All it functionally does is add a small amount of exhaust restriction. There's nothing instrumented that would tell them one way or the other.

snip...snip...Can't really see why anyone would want it more quiet (which is the only difference I could hear) unless you upgrade your stereo and strange sounds happen due to the factory 3A08 noise canceling/sound enhancement, or your wife is bitching at you because it's too loud. The sound is definitely not "fake" as it sounds identical in tone.
rb92, thanks for the information as I'm planning on upgrading the sounds (adding amp, speakers, etc) and had read on another forum that folks were getting interference due to the sound module in the GT 350! Sounds like this may be the answer, thx!!
