Took my 2017 to the track. Weather was hot 85 deg with really high humidity.
Wheel hop was violent. Felt like I was going to break something. Literally had to slip the clutch and baby launch. My 60 ft shows it. I think it ran good considering the heat . There were several 2011-14's running 13's with light mods, so I guess I did good.

60ft - 2.098
330- 5.625
594ft- 7.944
1/8 - 8.456
mph- 87.89
1/4 - 12.834
mph- 111.9

Looked at the fast list and wondering how it is humanly possible to run 1.7 60 ft stock. I'm thinking cooler weather and less hop , should run 12.5.

No one is running 1.7 60 fts on street tires. Drag radials sure.

You're right. I looked at the wrong list. There is a manual with 1.84 60 in the bone stock list though. Not sure what drag radials would do for me. Need to fix the wheel hop thing.

Ya, the wheel hop is horrible on these cars. I'm getting a bunch of steeda/bmr parts and axles installed next month. I'm more worried about snapping a axle on the street than launching on my slicks at the track. The wheel hop and wieght are my two biggest complaints about my car.

Careful with that wheel hop, that's how you break shit. The stock clutch doesn't like slippage either. Most organic clutches don't.

That's not bad for your mods and weather on street tires, start with BMR CB005 and some vertical links for help with the hop. You'll easily be in mid to low 12s same tires cooler weather and less hop. Wheel hop is bad

I have done some reading and agree. I will order the BMR CB005 and give it a try.

Thanks

BMR CB005 helped, but certainly didn't cure the wheel hop by any means. I stopped doing burnouts because the car wheel hopped so bad. That said, I was much more consistent after that and the car 60ft-ed the same. Skipping the smoke show on street tires will reduce the likelihood of snapping the axles. If you want to run drag radials, get axles.

At what rpm do you launch?

Any idea on the DA? Based on the trap, it looks like it was a hot day/night!

No burnouts. Let the clutch out (no dump) at 2500 or so. It was 85 and very humid. Was hoping the cradle lock out would cure the hop.

I'm seriously working overtime then some. I'm trying my best.

Shoot me a PM when you get a chance. If you already did I promise I'll do my best to get to it ASAP.
