Has anyone tried both of these systems or have an opinion about the volume of the two systems? I have the Corsa Sport and I'm considering the Borla S-type and wondering if the Borla S-type will be similar loudness (or louder). Thanks!

Volumes are similar. I've driven/heard both. Yours will sound pretty close to the S-type because of the H pipe you have vs the double X-pipe in the Corsa catback. S-type is louder overall inside w/ windows up by a decent amount.

We've tested both, Borla did have some rasp to it and the tone did change after about 6 months of use.

I will say they both still sounded great.

Jayman33 - what are your thoughts of the Borla Touring Catback? How much louder than stock is it? Also how do you think it compares to the Ford Racing Touring Catback in terms of loudness? Thanks!

My assessment of the FRPP one will be old since they changed it from the last time I personally tested them. The borlas at the time were not as loud but didn't have a deep tone either.

What/when did they change about the FRPP and how does it affect tone?

I love my Borla S-type mufflers, but if I was to buy new mufflers...I'd go with Corsa Xtreme. The Corsa Sport seem a bit too subdued to me.

Whats your goal here? Are you looking for no rasp or just loudness?

I had the Borla Touring on for a few hundred km and it's a fair amount louder than stock even though the video's online may not indicate as much.

I've since gone to the Magnaflow Competition axle-back and am done messing with my exhaust (Borla is for sale btw ... :D).
