Opinion requested on rear 911 Porsche stone guards on a Mustang

Starting to get rock chips on the rear quarter panel since they're flared out so much from the factory. What do you think of vinyl 911 style stone guards on the rear of a mustang? Too douchey? I know it's not a Porsche. Car is a ruby red GT with the stainless 19 " rim package. Thanks, YCB
