No not near Berkshire. Paperwork on new car was signed today and they have settled my old finance too so its just a case of dropping old car off and picking up new one now.

Line lock is a feature of the car so if they ask if I've used it I would say yes. Why wouldn't I? :)

TC off.

go through menu

Press brake down

Once it locks, press accelerator, you're laughing

Took me about 3 attempts to get it to work, not the best instructions.

That's where I went wrong

I'd get all the way to pressing ok to start and then it would say that it wasn't available. No reason why

Also is TC still on in Race mode?

Didn't need to turn TC off. Just when you hold the brake hold it for longer than you think. A few extra seconds is all it needed. First attempt it said not available. 2nd worked :)

you don't need to turn of TC manually. It will do it for you when you put it into line lock

Then I haven't a notion why it wouldn't work.

You need to be on flat level ground too. I think that's the bit that really upsets it
I was too, it's away now anyway so I can't attempt it anymore :(

You need to follow this procedure:)

That's interesting I did not know that you could lock the break on ,I always keep my left foot on the brake pedal and right foot on throttle?,and I don't switch to track mode either?

That's how us older guys used to do it. Seems we need electronics for everything these days :shrug:
