ebay 5.0 Black Fender Badges

I just got these in the mail from....yeah, China.....

I took a chance. He advertised matte finish and were metal. He was selling for $8.99 Canadian and a buck to ship. I offered $9 Canadian total and he took it. Anyway, after taking the slow boat from China 60+ days ago, I have them.

I am very surprised on how good they look and feel. Definitely worth my $9 :

And that's for the pair....NOT EACH!!!!!!

I've always had a hard time installing badges..... I bought some a while ago and I f*ed them up in terms of alignment and had to remove them :\

Yep. Just got back from selling a house on the other side of the island. Got home and found a bunch of stuff from ebay and CJ and my buddy painter did my side scoops.

So within the next couple of weeks my car is gonna have lotsa visual stuff and I still have my lowering springs to get done....soon too.

I bought some of these as well. Not sure if it was the same seller though.

The finish on them is definitely worth the money. That said, they are hollow, not solid, and do not have the mounting tabs on them. The supplied tape is not the greatest in terms of cutout - they slightly protrude past the outline of the badges (which would make them look like black badges with a white line around them)

Because of the tape, I have not fitted them. I suppose I'm just really lazy though as it shouldn't be too hard to trim the tape down a little with an X-acto knife.

All in all... very good buy for the price!

I hear ya on the tape. Some 3M would do the trick. And as you suggested, an X-acto knife. My car is white so I probably wouldn't see the white tape. But eventually that tape is gonna get dirty too. Dark gray or black tape would do the trick

I think they're only different if they have the locating tabs on the back. If not (and these don't have the tabs), they look to be the exact same badge.

Can anyone confirm?
