Same issue here. Running Brisk plugs and had a cylinder 8 misfire. Pulled the plug to find this:

How often should we be changing these on Boosted applications? Im definitely changing to ngk.

Same thing happened to me. Went to the local store and bought some ngk. My had I believe around 9-10k miles.

That is exactly what happened to mine. Waste of 100 bucks.

Brisk are fucking garbage. Been through 3 sets of them and they all failed like this. So sick of the supporting shops on here saying "these are what we use in our race car" blah blah blah

i still don't get why some are having problems.

we have run nothing but brisk for years and years, and in all our builds we do here.

7 to 8 second cars with lots of miles and gobs of passes

Mine were shot after 4K miles, swapped to ngk 6510s and all was good

And now #2 cylinder misfire and the same thing again.


The second Brisk failure for me alone. Took them all out of my motor and put 6510s in.

I had some trouble with my brisk plugs after 2-3k miles. Got misfires after doing a couple of revs for some friends that wanted to hear my car. Started misfiring right when I left the lot. I've had NGK 6510s after that and haven't had a problem since. Put about 5k miles and been to two half mile events after that too.
