Pulled the trigger and ordered 20x10 and 20x11 project6gr wheels. I was thinking about using bmr springs to lower the car, has any regretted getting them because they only drop the rear 0.5 inches? Just want to see what others have done. The rear tires will be 315/35/20.

0.5" is perfect.

So glad to hear that. I have sp089/sp082 springs sitting on my garage workbench waiting to install within the next month....

If you like a raked stance, the BMR's will be perfect.

I have darn near the same drop front and rear with my GT350R fronts. You'll love it. 0.5" in back closes the gap but doesn't make it look slammed. Just right.

This is my biggest beef with BMR springs and why I never tried them. Not enough drop. I pleaded with Kelly one day to please put together some dropped springs. But he would not budge. So I was thinking of buying the company. But decided against it and went with Ridetech spoil overs. :)

What's the difference between the regular sp080 and the sp089/sp082 setup.

The front drop is great IMO. I like the rear but also wouldn't mind just a little more drop.

SP082s are the rears in the SP080s. SP089 is the same rate but a 7/8" front drop instead of 1.2" for the SP081s (fronts in SP080).

I have gt350r springs waiting to be installed. I think the .5" drop looks perfect on these cars. I prefer a slight wheel gap vs. the tires being tucked up into the fenders.

Something you need to consider is how tall a 315/35R20 tire is. It's a full 1" taller than a 275/40R19. If you drop the rear more than a half inch or so with that size, it will look like the rear is lower than front in relation to how close the tire is to the top of the fender.

I have the sp083 springs and the drop is just a little too low for me. I still have them and will probably continue with them because I love the way the car feels now but that is my only negative. A lot of my buddies have commented on how low my car is and ask if I hit the bumper all the time. I have to absolutely crawl over speed bumps or I scrape. All parking lot entrances have to be taken at angles or I scrape. The irony is not lost on me that I have made many modifications to make my car feel better at high speeds but those same mods force me into very low speeds in many places where the stock height flew over. I am thinking about the spacers Steeda makes to give a bit more clearance. I can't imagine a daily driver any lower than my car keeping its bumper very long. Perhaps the sp083 is your answer for a bigger drop. The stance does look good.

I have 20x10/20x11 Project 6GR wheels, and am planning to get the (front) minimal drop springs as well. For what it's worth, I have 315/35/20 on my rears and 275/35/20 on the fronts and I feel like the fronts are about 1/2" too high. The rear wheel wells are filled out nicely with a beefier rear tire.
