McLeod RST. Mostly street driven. Came highly recommended by most shops when I asked around.

RXT here
The difference is the RST is a organic disc and the RXT is ceramic. The the pros of the RXT is that it will hold more power, not be affected by heat like a organic disc. The cons is it is harder on drive train because there is no slippage or give...at all. Both are very easy to drive with...better feel than stock.

What flywheel do most of you guys go with when doing the RXT? Stock, steel, aluminum?

STOCK until she taps out! Haven't tracked it yet so its holding up. I have an RXT with the McLeod Steel flywheel in the garage waiting.

I agree that the RXT is going to be harder on the drivetrain. I'm sure I will find out how much this MT82 can hold.

Is there a clutch (even diff brand?) that is a happy medium ?

We ran the Mcleod RXT and Lightened Steel Flywheel on our 850rwhp Whippled GT. We will have 15% OFF Mcleod from the 17th-20th this month, so if you're looking for pricing shoot me a PM!

There probably is with our manufacturers. For a boosted application with McCleod you are going to want either the RST or RXT. I went with RXT because I didn't want to be replacing it again and it seems to be the favorite...I love mine. After going through two stock ones..one NA and one boosted I was done. I went with the lightened steel flywheel.

Back in my bowtie days I ran both Centerforce and Spec clutches with good success. Not sure what they offer for the Ford world.

Getting the car moving in first with the RXT was like relearning how to drive a stick lol. It doesn't like too much soft slipping and crap, it wants to grab and go

Experiencing the same with the RST. Just ordered the Steeda spring to see if that helps with the ultra soft pedal. I have the McLeod lightened steel flywheel as well.

I went with a SPEC stage 2+ rated for 705 TQ. Only 250 miles on it before winter storage, but I was started to get slight chatter on first gear take off if RPM was to low. I hate clutch chatter and reason I didn't go with the RXT twin, but now I have it with this dam clutch although it's not bad at all. The pedal pressure feels to me like the stock clutch, and there is no noise of any kind.
