Lost my lock nuts key, now what?

Tried to order through ford, they were like not sure, will call you back.

From the plastic bag, apparently need to register and order directly with McGard in US?

Anyone has done the same thing?

SOLUTION:

Call McGard after 1AM AEST (9am in NYC) on +17166628980. Talk to the lady, give her your Lock Nut Key Serial and Address info. And pay about 50x USD (1x.xx for the key + 3x.xx for FedEx Express).
The item will be in Australia in 3 DAYS!

This works for all International Mustangs, you cannot register on their website since it only works for US and Canada!

Yes on our 13 Edge. The dealer lost the key when they were rotating the tires. Most Ford dealers have a master set they use to find your key #. Ours did and ordered one for free as it was their fault. I ordered one extra for both our 16 Mustang GT and the Edge. :ford:

I had a different car where I lost the key. I went to the local tire shop, Discount Tire, where I live, and for $5.00 a wheel they "removed" the lock lug. I then replaced all the lug nuts.

If the locks came with the car from the factory they are McGard locks and your Ford dealer should have a master set. Call and ask.

I said I have called them, and they are like not sure.
Im not gonna put any adjectives on my experience with some dealers, but most people should know what im trying to say.

this would give me an incentive to change my fugly sliver lug nuts to black, not sure as i am no mechanic but if you angle grind two flat sides on the lock nut and use some tension vice grips on it and remove them, then replace them with black ones with new lock nuts

I think once I take them off, ill replace them with better ones.

You can get them from Mcgards website as long as you have the key #.

FORD DEALER STILL SAYING THEY ARE WAITING FOR FORD AUSTRALIA'S REPLY.

AND THEY DO NOT HAVE MASTER LOCK NUT KEY.
