So I recently started doing a pour over brew to take in to work in the morning rather than bringing k cups in; I got tired of the waste and cost for mediocre coffee. Problem now is I have this plastic cup that tends to splash a bit so I'm on egg shells driving in to work in the morning. I've been looking around at sealed commuter cups that have minimal plastic parts and are "easy" to clean, anyone have any suggestions?

The key is to keep the hole you drink out of pointed toward the front of the car so it doesn't spill when you get on it.

Yea, I try to alter the orientation a bit. The problem now is that the cup as the mouth and vent hole on opposite sides, so I have to keep it kind of diagonal to minimize splashing from turning/acceleration; the vent hole is not that small. Most of the spilling seems to come from bumpy roads, though.

I just keep a little towel and lay it over the top when I'm not drinking it if I plan on being an ass.

Haha, not a terrible idea, unfortunately I get splashes making low speed turns leaving my neighborhood. Its done wonders for my gas mileage though!

I use one every morning. Never had a g force spill yet. They also make a top with a snap closed opening.
Walmarts brand is the same thing for less than half price. Ozark Trail I think it is.
