I've ran an 11.4 at 119 with slicks and a couple of 11.7s with drag radials down at BMP a couple of times when I was bolt ons(stock intake manifold) with a flex fuel tune. I usually put the car in track mode and disable advancetrac. I have also tried running pulling the fuse but got similar results and decided to just go with disabling advancetrac. I have pretty much stock suspension with the addition of a few things. With slicks I would dump the clutch at 7.1k RPM and on the drag radials(19 inch wheels) I would slip the clutch at 3.5-5k depending on track conditions.

11.43@121 at 1100 Da. Mods are no cats, mufflers, Aed FF tune, and big/littles on hoosier slicks. Car is a base model with 3.55s 100% stock suspension besides SR lowering springs. Im leaving about 5500-6000 rpms riding the clutch just very small amount. Just turning Adv. Trac off

[email protected] 1.72 60 on street tires. S+ with the nannies turned off. Went 12.16@118 and [email protected] as the track got more slippery over the night and we got more power through tune changes.

My suggestion is to use the gas pedal setting you most often use when you drive the car if you are trying to slip the clutch on tires other than slicks. Many people never use the track setting and aren't used to the throttle sensitivity when they are at the track.

Now that's a killer pass with killer DA.:clap2:

How do you put the car in "track setting" on a non premium GT?
Press and hold traction button for about 5-8 seconds until you see "AdvanceTrac Disabled".

Can I ask what psi you ran in the slicks? I previously had issues when I attempted to run radials up front with the slicks in the rear.

I really think the gearing is also an issue. my 3:73's, i'm well past peak power crossing the 1/4 mile line. I'm putting in 3:55 to help stay in power range while moving further per rpm.

My best run is 12.15 @ 118.2 with 1.9 60ft. 305 nt05r drag radials on the back. Sold those.

Now looking for a slick and my new gears/clutch to help me go into deep 11's.
