I wouldn't hold your breath. Don't we have to wait for an aftermarket unit too? Thanks bro!! I am ready to buy asap
Nope - Choose a current double din or single din headunit to your liking. I'm going with a double din Pioneer touchscreen personally.I wouldn't hold your breath. Don't we have to wait for an aftermarket unit too?
In May of 2015 they said maybe by end of the year (2015). Notice that they do not say they are even working on a kit! I think they must not be due to all that is involved, cost and reliability concerns.:(
Here is Schosche's reply back regarding this kit availability:
"Greetings
We still don't have a release date on the dash kit. Sorry for the inconvenience that this may have caused.
Best Regards"
I think they are busy pushing out other car makes/models. It was in their press release, so doubtful that they won't make it. The same AC controls are being implemented on other car model install kits so I can't see them cancelling this for cost overruns...In May of 2015 they said maybe by end of the year (2015). You could do like I did and use a bezel from a premium car. Search my posts and there's a video of my double din Android (full Android not car play) in my base car with a premium bezel. This will be nice when it comes out and I'll probably still get one, but for now my setup works great for me.Could you link your unit for me? If I'm reading this right, we still have to wait for this bezel to buy aftermarket?
