Maybe a dumb question but this 2015 is the most modern Mustang I've owned and see a lot of you guys a running oil separator. Do these 3.7's have a tendency to draw oil into the intake ?? And if I should get one what do you recommend ? TIA

I was skeptical about the oil separator on a NA engine, very surprise at amount of oil my JLT it was catching. It probably doesn't hurt anything but would rather not have that oil sent to the intake manifold. I like the OEM like connectors makes it easy to remove and replace with factory piping when taking the car to the dealer

My UPR catch can was a pain to get installed correctly (tubing length and connector issue) but once it was on it collects a lot, A LOT, of oil and lets none by. IMHO its the highest quality catch can on the v6 market and the company's customer service is awesome. Can't go wrong.

Guys,

Dumb question: I dont see much oil being caught in the JLT oil separate even after 10000 miles of driving. (ps: I always drive like I stole it ) Any thing which I need to be worried about in specific ?

NO, I've had a JLT oil separator for over a year and the most I had was 1/4 of the can at about 3000 miles. The oil separator only catches the oil under long high RPM's runs.

That may be normal for JLT but my UPR is 1/3 full every 5000 miles. The 4 stage design really catches ALL the blow by.

I put a JLT on mine last week. Only put a couple hundred miles on it so far.
I have an 08 Grabber Orange V6 manual as well. Had to change out the water neck a few weeks ago and the throttle body had a good amount of oil in it. So I thought it a good idea to put one on the new car.
