Stock GT Exhaust on V6 Mustang

Put GT exhaust on mine this past Saturday. Love the deeper tone. And my butt dyno registered a little more power. And I did confirm that it does not matter if you get the exhaust from a manual or auto. My car is an auto and I put on exhaust from a manual on mine.

Not so cheap in So FL. One listed at $600. Another listed at $300 but will go $150. I still would want to add and H-pipe and maybe tips so I might just go aftermarket.

How much heavier is the GT exhaust (judging by feel)? Seeing these pop up locally for next to nothing and would like to upgrade for just the better looking tips alone. Trying to fight the urge lol.

Guys, Any one with resonator delete H-pipe on V6 ?? No, I am not referring to Off road H -pipe just the mid resonator delete H -pipe. Just was hoping someone can throw light on this.

Don't fight it, just let it happen. Its been a while since I did the swap, but I didn't think it was a ton heavier.

It was not enough that i could tell the difference during install. So, diffidently not enough extra weight to affect performance. The sound and the tips are well worth it for a slightly heavier GT cat-back.

BTW - did the swap by myself on jack-stands in less than two hours.

Thanks for the feedback all. Looks like the weight is negligible. I will be scooping the next one of these up as one comes available locally.
