As has been mentioned before, and that I now do, is to use an ≈ 2' long 2x4 as a defacto jacking rail. Just butt the 2x4 against the inner edge of the pinch weld, jack from the center, then place your jack stands. In the back, I actually put the jack stands under my convertible's flat sub frame (next to the pinch weld). In the front, I put the stand under the heavy duty sub frame that is 6" inward from the pinch weld. If you use the pinch welds for your jack stands, you will likely need some sort of adapter to allow your jack stands to support 'around' each side of the 1" high pinch welds.
