This might be something everyone already knows, but I just discovered this recently while looking through the manual for something else. You can put all your personal music on a thumb drive and just leave it plugged into your car and have access to all your music all the time. I had been using an 8gb ipod nano, but my music collection is larger than that, so I just bought a 64gb flash drive for $16, instead of buying an expensive ipod.

Welcome to 2016! :)
Ummmm Welcome to 2012 - My F350 has this as well.... Is the limit STILL 64Gb? I would have hoped we could at least do 128Gb by now.

Or... you can enter 2016 and use your smartphone with all the music downloaded while downloading more so you don't have to transfer everytime

I'm planning on hooking a 256GB SSD into the USB in my console for music since I'm out of space on my gen 1 ipod touch.

I'm a click away from ordering a usb powered microwave that can play music and I'm gonna plug it into my console

Didn't know about that one. I usually just listen using my iPhone but I keep the volume low for my favorite tune, the Coyote.
