They certainly do, really impressed with the look now, no more butt-ugly plastic!



Quite a squeeze with the FRPP oil separator due to the position of the breather outlet, but with a bit of jiggling it all fits fine.

Also changed the oil (getting to filter is a bit of a tw@t when laid on your back), and fitted the Roush ABs!! Not sure if this is possible, but the car seems to be more economical with some nice shiny oil?! The new ABs sound the business, a lovely burble and sound mean when you stamp on the loud pedal, as others have said, absolutely no drone when cruising at high speed.

Probably not wise, you'd want a V8, forgetting the 50 extra ponies and 50 torques it is now more or less pushing the new throttle mapping is just buttery.

I've already got more power than you.
Problem is the first 60ft, need more suspension parts as more power aint gonna help the launch.

Only Santa Pod for me now after how bad axle tramp was at Shakey. Ran a 13.3@111 at Santa Pod without trying with less power as the surface was a lot kinder, no axle tramp just a touch of wheelspin and did not have to lift out.

At Shakey was lifting out of 1st and a little in 2nd due to the horrendous axle tramp I had, best time was [email protected], went slower, though terminals were averaging 2mph quicker from tune updates.

So back to Pod next year with my quest for 12's which is possible for sure as when I ran 13.3 at Pod I was still babying gear changes a little and was running full weight on stock tyre pressures. But when I got back I will be on my lighter wheels, some more suspension tweaks, less weight and even more power, would love to get my terminal speed closer to 120mph.
