Maybe I just need to get used to the seating position, because I have plenty of headroom, but I feel like I'm sitting so high up. I've been fiddling with the seat position, but I keep trying to put the seat further down than it will go.

Anyone dig some foam out of the bottom of the seat or lower the seat rail somehow? I haven't looked yet, so I don't know what it looks like under there...

Again, maybe I just need to get used to how it looks from the driver seat.

Thoughts?

This is a common complaint. I don't think we have a solution yet.

I'd absolutely love to find one, though. I'd love to drop the seat another inch.

Have you tried removing the seat and just sitting on the floor pan?

I am happy just to have sufficient headroom. Not true in a lot of other cars.

Good to see Jimmy is still breathing. Hadn't seen anything from him in a year or more.

oh, don't get me wrong, I am happy about that too, especially being 6'4" and all torso. It's not a question of fitting in the vehicle, I just feel awkward. I can't explain it other than I just keep trying to make the seat go lower and there isn't more adjustment.

On a serious note, if you feel too high up, have you tried moving the seat backwards and reclining the seat back? That'll lower your head and center of body mass and you feel that you're lower.

Yes, I have been fiddling with the seat settings and just can't seem to get 100% comfortable. I know I could get used to it, but just wondering if anyone else thought the same thing.

I wish I could sit lower as well....I'd be good going down another 1"-1.5"

I'd like a solution to this as well because it feels like I'm riding on the car instead of in it

exactly. I feel like I'm in a guard tower.
It is all perspective I suppose. I am 6'5", 34 inseam and 340lbs. I drive an F350 Crew Cab everyday, when I sit in the Mustang I feel like I am sitting on the road. I have almost as much headroom as the F350 (it does have a sunroof though) and my arm is at the perfect height to rest on the window with it rolled down.
