Problem

Sounds like an issue with your wastegate, u shouldn't be hitting this psi. Have u changed your WG, what tune are u running? Is this psi consistent? Or was one time? You said u have an accesport, so I'm assuming u are running ots or tune +

Get a datalog and send it to your tuner. Mine will spike to 27 sometimes but the PCM will pull it right back down in an instant. I don't think it's anything terrible to be concerned with, but I would recommend shooting your tuner an email and having him/her look over it.

Factory Wastegate.. And im tuned by SpeedFactory Racing. I still get 1 more free revision so I sent him the data log and explained the situation. He checks his emails in the morning so I'll let you guys know what he sais!
Who's running aftermarket Wastegates here? Are they a must have? What do they really do?

Cons are just finding station really, and you get lower mpgs. E30 mix is the jam, have to run some type of aux fueling, port injectors etc... in order to run full e85 though. Benifits are burns cleaner and therefore cooler and can increase timing make more power safely.

Aftermarket wastegate works well to hold higher boost pressure more consistently in the upper powerband.

So all I have to do is get a proper tune to run the e30?

Is it normal to sit at 12 psi or so, and creep to 22? on a stock tune... Had this lately, car hasn't been any slower (times) but it has felt slower...

Yeah I never saw greater than 18+ on the stock tune, mind you I was stock during 75+ degree weather...

Tuned I was at 22PSI all day long.

Now with big turbo and methanol its like 23-27+ PSI depending on heat and humidity and heat soak.

I'm guessing your car is automatic? When switching gears the AP will sometimes capture that higher PSI

If my CAT's are in triple digits around 105 plus especially the car won't make more than 21-22lbs. If it's in the mid 90's it'll do 23 or so. If it's 75-85 it'll spike around 25.8 and drop to around 24.6 and slowly taper off towards redline from there. I'm on the stock wastegate and Tune+93 tune.
