This 40lb/ft is nothing new, a canned SCT 93 tune gave me the same increase at 1500-2500rpm, as did JDM custom tune as well. :)
Wonder how many tunes accomplish this then and just don't advertise it.

Yeah ford really isn't doing anything new with these tunes. These figures are at the crank so nothing new.

Now let's see how much that power pack 3 is gonna cost. I can't wait to get that if it's as good as it seems now. Looks like they didn't keep us waiting on one tune, it was 3 different ones
Lethal posted $1,900.00 on their site.

The Ford Performance website is currently showing MSRPs of $539, $949, and $2395 for stages 1 through 3. It seems as if Ford Performance parts are often available for 10% to 20% below MSRP, but initially dealers will probably want full retail for these kits.

For those of us in California and other states with strict emissions regulations (and who don't "know a guy that knows a guy...", the Ford kits offer the benefit of being 50 state legal. With the Ford kit, I can install it and forget about it. With other aftermarket kits I would have to get out the wrenches and swap parts back to stock for a smog check.

Levittown Ford is listing stage 1 for $396.75, more than 25% below MSRP. Lets hope the other stages are offered at similar discounts. If they do then stage 2 and 3 would be about $700 and $1775 respectively.

Even though the warranty stuff looks great, it is looking quite expensive right now

Is it though? I haven't purchased anything but don't kits with CAI, nGuage + tune run around $800. It sounds like these are priced maybe a little more. If it's a $100 more I'd probably say that would be worth the warranty you get with them.

I bought mine through Levitown as well for $396 and I found a dealer that would install it for $80. So not bad for a whole new car feel with factory warranty
I'll never buy ford parts from anyone else again, they have great pricing!

Thanks. Assuming the torque gained low is different from the throttle response gains from something like JMS Pedalmax? (It also claims 'torque improvements lower in the rpm range' and it def feels like that - but all it does is boost throttle response)
