A 2.7 wouldn't be putting out 435 HP with just a tune..A tuned, but otherwise stock, 2.7EB would be around 375 HP/425 TQ..it would be quicker in some metrics than the 5.0 GT but not in HP..now a modded 2.7? All bets are off.

Check out the new MKZ with the 3.0l twin turbo. You can get the AWD system from the RS with 400hp/400 lb ft.

More than a GT Premium though.

Can't believe you can't get a black interior with the Fusion Sport. You get 1 choice of interior color...wtf Ford?!?
Huh, I never paid any attention that interior is actually dark earth grey, and not black.

Lucky for me that is not a deal breaker. I just can't decide what color. I need to see it in person, but right now Lightning Blue is the leader in the club house for me.

I was told they started scheduling last week. I noticed a couple popped up as dealer ordered when searching Ford inventory.

So probably late summer early fall then right?
The Ford site says Summer 2016 for the Sport. So I expect to start seeing them in August.

Mustang owners...thoughts on the 2017 Fusion Sport

I'm very happy with my Mustang. However the 2017 Fusion Sport caught my attention. I priced it out and it came out to almost $9,000 more than my Mustang EcoBoost Premium! Also, it doesn't come with a manual.

Just wondering what everyone thought about it?

It's a generally apples to oranges comparison between the mustang and the fusion sport, However, it's good to know that there is a "sporty" version of the fusion, Ford is definitely trying to garner some attention in the midsize sedan market.

It actually sounds nice and I am sure it could kick my v6's butt. However at that price point I'd be more in the market for a GT. Sedan buying-wise I'd be more inclined to buy a small SUV, like a subaru forester, than buy a sport sedan. Clearly I am not the target demographic.

I'll tell you my opinion.. they should of incorporated the duel fuel system like they did in the new 3.5 ecoboost in the F150.. Lol. Then it would be a beast.. I still wouldn't want one tho.. rather have an N/A V8.. keep that warranty intact. :p

My DD is a '14 Fusion Titanium with the 240hp/270tq 2.0L EB and 19" wheels.
It's a decent performer and a very nice car overall.
But the new 325hp/380tq 2.7L EB sounds awesome!

I suspect the new front fascia/grill/headlights may preview to some extent what we can expect for the face of the '18 Mustang.
I wonder if the 2.7 will be offered for the '18 Mustang as well.
