I just got the 72# injectors and the 3.625 pulley with the new Flight Control software and Flare Tool.

I don't have a laptop but I have an Apple I-Pad. Will that work or do I need a laptop for this software / program to work correctly?

Is anyone using an I-Pad?

Thanks and more questions to come:)

Good question. I was curious about this myself. I didn't have a tablet, but I was considering buying one. I ended up grabbing a small laptop, because I didn't know if the download would need a "full" version of Windows or not. And I know many tablets do not have a full version on them. I have no clue if ipads have a full version or not.

If you have a USB adapter it may work, but thats if you can get the program loaded on the iPad, which you may not be able to.

Where did you get a manual? I just received the Flare tool in a box alone. No instructions or manual?

Can you use the flare tool on a non-whippled car for a crank relearn? If yes can anyone explain how?

Should still work without a Whipple as you aren't going to PROGRAM the car.

Open flare software
Open file
Select file from calibrations
Configuration
Click on profile learning
Follow instructions
