2015 GT Perf Pack.

Bought it in August 2015. Photo is from a trip where it turned over 2500 miles about 2 weeks ago. The 250 mile round trip, through virtually abandoned tight and twisty foot hills, was my first chance to shake the car down since I bought it.

Only modifications to it so far are BMR jacking rails. Will get into the rear suspension more as time goes on.

Suspension:

- BMR diff bushings
- Steeda toe links
- Steeda camber arms
- BC coilovers
- Eibach sway bars
- BMR spherical bearings
- Steeda IRS braces
- BMR IRS bushings
- BMR jacking rails
- Steeda g-trac brace

That last component may catch your eye... Especially since, it was designed to function in a similar way to BMR's new brace. Well, it's simple, BMR's design surpasses Steeda's by a long shot. So, I plan on replacing my g-trac with this component. The added stability to the front suspension should pay dividends on turn in and overall feel of the car. I'm not loyal to any particular aftermarket manufacturer, so I piece together a kit using the best of each company's components. With Steeda and BMR's rivalry, it makes it easy to put together one hell of a setup.

No BMR parts yet, looking forward to adding in the future however. Chassis brace would be a good start.

Looking at a few for the future as I am pretty much done with performance upgrades for a bit and going for handling and looks now.

All i have right now are the steeda progressives. I have heard very good things from BMR and I am interested in the anti-wheel hop kit. Would love to win this.

I don't have any BMR parts yet. But I have sway bars, springs and cradle lock out kit on my list.

The reason why I want the Front Chassis brace is for track and autocross use. I am tracking and doing autocross events with my car. Having rigidity in the front would only help me. I think this would be a great addition to my car.

Broken rays of morning light ever so bashfully illuminate my DIB GT PP.

Well, I like to take urban car photos (IG: @sirboom_photography).

I do not have any BMR products installed on my car right now. I don't have anything on my car, actually... except rock guards and a FRPP oil separator. In the middle of selling my house, finding another place to live, and boxing up my life. Not ready yet.

My goal is to lower and tighten up the GT PP suspension, which is alright but has a slight turn delay and wallows with a very unnerving initial body role as weight is transferred to the front wheel. It's a very capable car but I feel like you have to "have faith in it" as opposed to "trust it". Make sense? Like, you have to know in your head "it'll handle this" but it doesn't always feel like it will at critical moments, which degrades confidence. That and wheel hop is just absolutely unacceptable... like flat out... why? Why did Ford allow that?

I'm interested in this brace because (1) it'd be free if I won it, (2) it's a good price if I don't and buy it anyway, and most importantly (3) because, in theory, the more triangles you have, the stiffer the chassis becomes, which in turn allows you to tune the suspension with less chassis-born variables (flex). Translation: improved potential for predictable handling improvements and driving dynamics, especially in situations where my amateur butt makes mistakes.

I currently do not have any BMR products on my car but I have been shopping around for suspension parts. I'd love to strengthen the front of the car and allow the car to handle better in certain situations.

First round of mods nearly done...no BMR just yet, BUT;

Soon there will be! Handling is not where I want it to be for autocross and track days, so next up is full suspension and chassis stiffening suite from BMR. The new front chassis brace is a perfect complement to the rear end pieces, sway bars, and Handling springs that I'll need!

No BMR products yet, only steeda progressive springs. Looking for something to help prep the car for summer AutoX season
