I have been combing the internet and have come up empty. I know ford purchased a 458 Italia motor for RND and that the firing order is different on the 350. The question is, What is the firing order for the Voodoo?

The 458 was also attached to the motor for the R&D. I do not know the cylinders firing order though. I think it's UDDU whatever that means :D (Someone will come in soon and correct me)

I carefully examined the crankshaft (which is Up-down-UP-down), then I looked at the headers on the driver, and passenger side to see which exhaust ports are "shared".

Based on this, The following is the only firing order it can be:
(1-7-2-8-3-5-4-6).

Here is some data:

Looking at photos of the Voodoo, we will see that these Cylinder exhausts were matched together: (1 and 3), (2 and 4) on passenger side and (5 and 7) and (6 and 8) on the drivers side.

If the exhaust truly is set up so that cylinders which fire 360 deg. apart have their exhaust connected together, (and two cylinders cannot fire one after the other on the same cylinder head) then I computed this firing order: 1-7-2-8-3-5-4-6.

Notice here where 1 and 3 are in the firing order. (360 Degrees apart and their exhaust ports are shared).

This link here will explain fully about connecting exhaust ports where you want to have the ones firing 360 degrees apart to have the exhaust shared: http://www.fordfe.info/Exhaust/180FEHeaders.htm

EDIT: Apparently this combination also does work 1, 5, 4, 8, 3, 7, 2, 6 but I think I did not pick this because if you look at how the pistons are firing, it just seems odd to me.

I cant post the link due to the forum war with SVTP. but they did an article on it, they pulled the firing order directly from the PCM

It is in the 2016 Shelby GT350 SourceBook. I was unable to upload the entire .pdf file as it is to large. An easy internet search with the title provided will garner results.
