I just wanted to share this event for anyone in the des moines area. My friend who runs "The Organization" Facebook page is hosting a poker run from Des Moines to Council Bluffs on April 23rd. Here's the official event link

What: The Organization Poker Run
When: April 23, 2016 9:00am
Where: Des Moines to Council Bluffs
Why: Fun!
Details: $25 buy in, cars, trucks, & bikes welcome. 100% of the buy in will go to the winner & to the prize pool at the NEAD No Prep Event at Eddyville on June 18, 2016.
1 Card will be dealt at 5 designated stops. The best 5 card hand wins!
In addition to cash & fabulous prizes, the winning player will select a class at the NEAD No Prep Throw Down that gets the money added to that class' prize pool. The payout to the winner of the poker run will be determined by the number of entries.
The event will kick off in Des Moines & the final cards will be dealt in Council Bluffs at Quaker Steak & Lube. Joe's Karting is next door, some races, after some lunch should make for a good day.
We ask that everyone in attendance keeps it safe & obeys traffic laws as the run takes place. We do not want anyone to get hurt or get in to trouble. The goal is to have fun & bring some additional buzz to the first no prep event at ERP.
