I think itll be a bit better. Still dont think itll be enough to offset the costs of making it fit and just higher cost for the manifold kit itself.

You're forgetting other costs to make it fit. Either a pricey hood or motor mounts to lower the engine and youll still need to notch your oe hood. Youre also comparing used vs new.

Has this been confirmed? I have the CJ set up off my 2011 that I have considered putting on my 2015. I read people saying that they fit with the lower motor mounts. But always seems second or third hand info. Thanks

Yes 100% notch hood or lower the engine. Another option is aftermarket hood.

What he's asking is if the hood needs to be chopped in ADDITION to the lower motor mounts. I thought it was just one that needed to be done....

Pratt, I believe Eddie got away with only cutting his hood.

Oh ok. It's only one modification needed. Lots of people have been happy with just notching the hood.

I know a few have just cut their hood braces to make them fit. I had hope the lower mounts were enough as I don't really want to cut the hood.

Motor mounts are only 130$
Not eveyone wants poly mounts. I have plans for watson racing solid metal mounts. Ill be needing more then those pieces offer. Itll be gt350 or holley sniper for me. Not everyone wants those mounts, not everyone wants an over priced, look at me hood (lack of sleeper) or to cut their stock hood. :headbang:

The cj is bigger then the boss. Rbs550 had to still notch his even with his watson hood on stock mounts.

I currently have cj n just had to cut hood
