  1. First 2020 GT500 Dyno Video 705rwhp

Can we see the TQ Curve? Not just the number, but the curve itself.
  2. GT vs. EB high performance for city driving

Thanks for the feedback; I went to two Ford's dealers and didn't have the HPP on lot. I've had 3 cars with Turbo, from V8 to I4 and nothing is more satisfying than when the boost hits. Deep down, the EB HPP brings back that feeling. The GT has other benefits but I was disappointed with it's low...
  3. GT vs. EB high performance for city driving

Funny you say that. I did a test drive of Corolla HB the other and during the test drive, I was in in city traffic and I said the exact thing to myself. For $22K it will do the job, but not for my weekend fun. So I started looking elsewhere. I also test drove a Jetta GLI and was very surprised...
  4. GT vs. EB high performance for city driving

I've been that road before when I boosted my C6 Z06 and dealers gave me hell with warranty issues. It was a fight for every thing, to blame the TT for rattling noise from my dash. So I want to keep it under warranty, until it's over.
  5. GT vs. EB high performance for city driving

It has to be, that's why Ford is asking for such a higher premium on the HPP. However, I really posted this question, is because, the BASE GT is now so close to EB HPP, and with GT you can get better discount and get the best of V8. But I thought I ask if the HPP gives a much better low end TQ...
  6. GT vs. EB high performance for city driving

    Exactly...
  7. GT vs. EB high performance for city driving

That's because I'm getting ready to buy a 2020 car.
  8. GT vs. EB high performance for city driving

Thanks for your feedback. Is the GT insurance higher than EB? How is your GT low end TQ up to 3500? For street driving that's what matters. From 1700 to 3500. I wonder when this new turbo wakes up, after 4000? If yes, then it needs RPM room before boost shows up.
  9. GT vs. EB high performance for city driving

That's what make it hard to decide. The goodness of V8 vs. the low end TQ of Turbo. This new EB isn't like the old one. Just saw a video of new EB driving and the Exhaust (not engine) sound was close to GT.
  10. GT vs. EB high performance for city driving

Hi guys; Can't decide which one has a better low end TQ (1500 - 2500 RPM) for city/street driving where you don't get much room to rev the car. Love the sound of GT and how it revs on open road, but most of my driving is inner city, but I need low end TQ. Has anyone driven these two (GT and...
  11. 2020 GT500 vs the competition - by the numbers

Wow, you offered a lot of useless information.
  12. 2020 GT500 vs the competition - by the numbers

I agree. But they should replace the ZR1 with Z06, as Z06 is more relevant in power and price.
  13. 2020 GT500 vs the competition - by the numbers

I thought the starting price was set at $78K. I heard a Ford Rep, said "$78,000". But the most important number for real use is the TQ curve between 2500 - 4000. That's the lowend TQ that moves the car forward. 760 at 8000 means nothing when it comes to getting started.
  14. Mustang Shelby GT500 will produce 760 horsepower and 625 lb-ft of torque

I'd like to see what HP curve that engine makes at the same RPM where it makes 625 TQ. That's is the key HP. The closer these two numbers are (HP & TQ) as their final numbers, the better power engine you got.
  15. Ford Mustang GT Coupe—Best Overall Value Performance Car

Are there any NEW features for 2020 GT? I can't find any info. on this model for 2020?
