  1. Wiring guide for NON B&O premium audio systems. No LOC required.

🤣 I haven't used the rear speakers in a single "stereo" system since the early '90s, I've always cared more about staging vs. rear fill. Home Theater is a different story, but I'm not watching movies in my vehicles.

You don't have enough channels to run the Focal's active, so you would need to run the crossover for at least 2 on each channel. If I had to run that setup I'd personally run the woofers active on their own channel as they need the most power, then the mid/tweeter passive off the Focal...

That doesn't sound correct at all. I'm running the same setup basically except I'm only running a 2 way setup (fully active) in the front and it sounds amazing. Do you know how they wired up the front speakers? Are they running them off the Focal crossovers? Did they run new wires for the...

Yeah, evidently it varies depending on which DSP you have. My Audio Control does everything for you, all you have to do is input the correct distances and it does the calculations for you.

No, I used my Audio Control DM-RTA to set the levels, EQ, etc... Everything is setup except the time alignment. Right now I've just got it set by ear to get it better than it was, I would just like to know how it's suppose to be setup correctly in the Mosconi software. Ok, after some...

Which Mosconi DSP do you have? I bought a D2 100.4 DSP for my F-150 and I can't figure out how to set the time alignment correctly. Everything else works great, but when I set the time alignment like I did in my Mustang with my Audio Control (set the distance for each channel) this makes the...

It might be labeled DSP on your 2015. When you open it up if it's 727 then you are on the correct module.

My '21 matches these diagrams. Unless they are testing something for an upcoming release I wouldn't think they would change anything this late in a model run with the 2023 being the S650...
  9. Shopping list to add subwoofer/amp to base car

You could, but most RCA cables have tiny wires that will be difficult to strip/connect. You will be much better off using something like this with some regular speaker wire and T Taps. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08CRX2HF2

Yeah, I just don't like the idea of being out the replacement cost of the tweeters if something crazy did happen.

Well, AudioControl hasn't gotten back to me, but I think after doing some further research and testing that the issue is being caused by the capacitors on the tweeters I'm using for protection (active setup) The pop only comes through the tweeters, so I've got some PTC resistors on the way to...

Did you remove the factory DSP? I haven't double checked it, however when I first chose that spot (one of the seat mount bolts) I did compare the resistance from it to the negative battery post vs. the factory ground point behind the passenger side panel and they had the same resistance, and...

Thanks for the offer, however I think it's something in the amp itself causing it. I put a meter on the remote wire and when I key on there is definitely a delay (which is the TR4), before there is voltage present, then there is another delay after that of about a second or so when the pop...

Ok, figured out a couple things. First I didn't even need the TR4 as the factory signal is enough to turn on my amp, however it still pops it's just instant instead of delayed. The rear camera signal pops as well, so that's out too. Hoping that it was a delay thing I tried waiting a few...
  15. Shopping list to add subwoofer/amp to base car

I have the CM Components RSD. I used 3mm stainless straight brackets to bolt the box to the vehicle using the factory lower seat bracket points. This is the old amp which has now been removed. I've got some Kilmat left over from doing the doors so I'm going to patch up some areas that were...
