  1. 169? On public roads

Been away for a week. Maybe in jail for doing 170. Some of you guys need to wash the sand out of your vagina. Isn’t this a GT500 forum?? Jesus. I've never seen so many accusing comments based on where YOU live and drive. Risk is calculated. It’s definitely not the same in this vast country. It’s...
  2. 170 MPH on public roads ?

Thanks for the ego check. James Bond?? You don’t know where I drive. No bicyclists, no houses for miles, no ā€œold peopleā€ pulling out. Ever been to Indiana? Lots of places with less people for MILES than a racetrack. Don’t make assumptions. I don’t tell people how to drive in Toronto, that’s...
  3. 170 MPH on public roads ?

Always liked your posts Tom, going back to the GT350 forum 5 years ago when I was on there a lot. Usually agree with you, but there’s a time and a place for everything. I don’t live in central Florida, where I’d never drive like I do where I live. Glad to hear you always follow the traffic laws...
  4. 170 MPH on public roads ?

I don’t post on this forum much. Had a 16 gt350, currently a 20 gt500. What a lot of you donā€˜t realize is the part of the country some of us live in. I lived in a VERY rural part of southern Indiana. Lots of well maintained, rural highways that have challenging curves, hills, and long...
  5. GT500 & C8

Extreme southern. Perry county. 37, 145, 62, 66. Great VERY rural driving roads.
  6. GT500 & C8

Couple pics before a hard day running back highways of Southern Indiana with a friend. We swapped for a while. C8 is a great driver, great touring car, but the power just isn’t there. Digs hard, but 60-100+ just lacks. Not knocking it at all, just different machines. Great day!
  7. 2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 2

Produced 8/21. Arrived at the dealer this morning. You are right, it is seeming to take longer. My friend got hers from a dealership 30 miles from mine. His was produced 8/14, and was delivered to the dealer on 8/21. That one was fast. I’m in a very southern part of Indiana. Right on the Ohio...
  8. 2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 2

Can’t wait to pick her up! Very thankful it finally arrived. Hopeful for those still waiting that yours will come soon. It’s been quite a wait for a lot of us. Earl, watching mine and everyone else’s daily updates has really made it fun. Can’t thank you enough!
  9. 2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 2

Made my day Earl! Short convoy trip, hopefully here tomorrow!
  10. Off to look at GT500's today

Here’s a little ammunition for you. Average auction price and most recent sales. This is what 2019 GT 350s and actually sold for at auction recently. You want to get really close to this. Average miles for that price is about 3000, adjust accordingly. Good luck.
  11. Hurricane Laura: A car purchase like no other

Hell of a story John. Glad you got her home. That last pic made me a little nervous!
  12. 16yr old drives 2020 GT500

Mine was produced Friday. I decided long ago my 15 year old son with only a learners permit is driving mine off the lot. He’ll drive it before me. Something he’ll never forget. He’ll get about 2 miles before I kick his ass out though. I’m a 7/2/2019 guy. I’m out of patience!
  13. 2020 GT500's Scheduled For Production - Part 2

3286 Brother! My friend picked up 3290 yesterday. Both Southern Indiana.
