hate to say it but I had the same issue with my 15 gt, I had the windshield redone 2 times and it did nothing. ended up being the welds at the roof line. basically Ford said they would have to pull all the glass and pressurize the cab to find all the air leaks then re-read and paint it...

no one ever said that wasnt true, but doesn't change the fact that ford cant give you what Chevy does for the same price. and of course there are mustang's as far as the eye could see, who wouldn't want a sports car to teararound Hawaii

and yea the mustang wins sales for two reasons, it's easier to daily live with, and it sells way more to fleet. take only actual consumer numbers they are alot closer

it could be the welds on the roof of the car, had this on both sides of my car, it looked like water was running down the inside of the door and my floor would get soaked

when they were first announced I went to two local dealers to try to order one, both wanted 6k Adm. I think they were hoping for a gt350 type thing again

I don't know much on down force or any of that but I'd have to imagine once you get to the higher speeds it could have some affect, I think the biggest thing between the 2 cars on the mile race is the gearing not down force or because of the wider tires

completely agree the pp1 should be base and add the pp2 with coolers, although I think the tires might be a bit much if you plan on street driving. I would love a comparison of both cars same time and tires and set up for them. that would be the true test
